Flourless Protein Cacao Nib Cookies Health Benefits
These Flourless Protein Cacao Nib Cookies have healthy fiber, flavonols, and a protein content that supports digestion, immunity, and energy. And, of course, they have a healthy heaping of cacao.
Cacao can lower blood glucose levels. It can also help reduce blood pressure. Cacao’s flavonol content increases endothelial nitric oxide that promotes vasodilation, leading to lower blood pressure.
To top off the health benefits of these cookies, we’ve also added flax seeds. Flax seeds are high in alpha-linolenic acid and fiber. Both of these nutrients are known to lower cholesterol in people with high cholesterol levels.
